It was all yellow...

Yellow and I have recently become friends. I spray painted a few black frames with a matte yellow, and then found a cute page of teddies in a magazine that worked perfectly...

The hearts were created with a heart punch and old maps and music, and then arranged on lined refill.

I love the way the frames brighten up our stark white and dark charcoal walls. Makes me smile every time I see them!

Doilies...yes please!

A little while back my beautiful friend came to stay and while having copious amounts of tea, we tried a few paper craft projects.

 We used old Frankie magazines, small paper doilies and ribbon - but old maps, different sized doilies, personal photos, or just the doilies themselves would all be fun variations on this super easy project. Find a picture, trace a circle, cut, stick with double sided tape - repeat multiple times, stick on to ribbon, and ta-da!

I hung mine above the bed in the guest room. I love the white doilies against the off white walls. A x
